Woman expelled father from home - what punishment was chosen for her by the court.


A woman from the Ivano-Frankivsk region committed domestic violence against her father. The accused expelled her relative from the house and demanded money from him.
This is stated in a issued by the Kolomyia District Court of Ivano-Frankivsk region on July 8.
Details of the case
According to court materials, on February 12 and 18, and March 5 and 15 of this year, the accused argued with her father. During these conflicts, she yelled, expelled the elderly man to the street, pushed him, threatened him, and demanded that he give her money. The victim passed away this year.
Court decision
During the court hearing, the accused acknowledged her guilt and asked not to punish her too severely. The woman stated that she was in a difficult financial situation and was raising two minor children on her own.
The accused is a single mother, is on narcological registration. Last year, she was already held administratively liable for domestic violence, and in January of this year, she was fined 340 hryvnias for violating a prohibitory order.
The woman was sentenced to a year of probationary supervision. Additionally, within a month, she must undergo a program for offenders. The court's decision can be appealed within 30 days from the date of announcement.
It is worth mentioning that in the Odessa region, a serviceman was tried. He kept drugs for personal use.
