Will there be power outages on August 13: Ukrenergo's forecast.


Ukrenergo reports that on Tuesday, August 13, power outages according to schedules are not planned. According to the company's announcement, no changes in the situation in the energy system are anticipated.
However, Ukrenergo emphasizes that in case of changes in the situation, they will inform citizens about the implementation of outages.
The company urges to use electricity sparingly throughout the day.
Stable power supply in Ukraine
The Ministry of Energy notes that even if the weather remains as hot as in July, power outages in Ukraine are not forecasted. However, it is worth remembering about possible Russian attacks on the energy sector that can change the situation.
Plans for power unit repairs
NAEK Energoatom plans to carry out repairs on two nuclear power plant units in 2024 to prepare for the heating season.
DTEK intends to restore 60-70% of the generation capacity lost after the massive Russian attacks this spring by October.
Power outage forecasts
Ukrenergo forecasts a reduction in power outages in August-October. The head of the company, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, noted that the electricity deficit in the country's energy system will gradually decrease if no new attacks occur.
