Diya and e-Consul: Ukrainians simplify obtaining consular services abroad.

Ukrainians abroad can now receive consular services faster and more conveniently. Thanks to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, public services and consular actions can be provided through Diya or the e-Consul system.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs continues to develop a modern, mobile, digital, and service-oriented consular service capable of adequately and promptly responding to current and future challenges,” said Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga.
This means that Ukrainians who need ID cards can obtain them without having to visit the embassy or consulate twice. Moreover, it is now possible to receive a foreign passport in one visit and register in the State Register of Taxpayers through embassies and consulates.
Additionally, the new service allows exchanging a driving license or obtaining it again if it has been lost or stolen. Furthermore, documents for newborns can be processed, such as state registration of birth, citizenship, assignment of the unique registration number, and registration in the State Register of Taxpayers.
It is noteworthy that applications for services can be submitted through the Diya portal or mobile application.
Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiga believes that these innovations will help Ukrainian citizens abroad avoid the costs of long trips and save their Time and money.
