Drones attacked the largest seaport in Russia.


On the night of January 4, unknown drones attacked the largest seaport Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region of Russia. This is reported by local Telegram channels.
It is noted that most of the drones, as reported, were shot down over the terminal of LLC «Novatrans» on the port's territory. Windows in one of the buildings were also damaged.
The governor previously reported that four UAVs were shot down, but he claims that there are no casualties or damage.
It is reminded that overnight, unknown drones attacked the city of Safonovo in the Smolensk region of Russia.
The probable target of the attack could have been the enterprise JSC «Avangard», which is part of the holding JSC «VPK «NUO Machine Engineering», one of the largest missile manufacturing holdings in Russia, which includes JSC «Corporation «Tactical Missile Armament».
The enterprise produces transport-launch containers, solid-fuel rocket motor cases, armor elements, and radiation protection for armored vehicles, radio-transparent shelters.
Additionally, in the morning, a «Carpet» plan was implemented at the «Pulkovo» airport in St. Petersburg due to the threat of a drone attack.
