The Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak congratulated the people's artist of Ukraine Vasyl Zinevych on his anniversary. This is reported by 'Glavkom' referring to Yermak's post on Telegram.

"May 1 marks the 80th birthday of Vasyl Zinevych – a people's artist, Hero of Ukraine, a person with a recognizable voice and a significant contribution to Ukrainian music. He was among those who shaped the modern Ukrainian pop scene – sincerely, melodiously, in his own way. His songs are a part of our culture. 'I will go to the distant mountains', 'Two colors', 'Mom's light room' – wrote Yermak.

The Head of the President's Office emphasized that 'Zinevych is about style, about respect for words, about a stage without artificiality.'

'He simply left a mark that does not fade with Time. Happy anniversary, maestro!,' Yermak concluded.
