The GUR revealed the features of North Korean military tactics near Kursk.

Reports indicate that North Korea is establishing additional observation posts in the Kursk direction due to the threat from Ukrainian drones. This information was released by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
According to the report, on December 16, 2024, Russian occupiers continued to employ North Korean troops in combat operations in the Kursk region. Having lost many personnel, the North Korean military is forced to focus on monitoring the unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian army.
According to GUR information, during December 14-15, 2024, in the areas of the villages of Plekhov, Vorobzha, and Martinovka, during combat actions, North Korean units suffered approximately 30 casualties, both killed and wounded. Additionally, three North Korean soldiers went missing during the battle near the village of Kurilovka.
Due to significant losses, assault groups are being replenished with personnel from the 94th Separate Brigade of the North Korean Army with the aim of continuing offensive operations in the Kursk direction.
