The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center warned residents of the Kyiv region about dangerous weather. This was reported by the press service of the Hydrometeorological Center.
Forecasters warn that difficult meteorological conditions may significantly affect everyday life in the region. A temperature of -1 to -6 degrees is expected at night and 1-4 degrees during the day. No precipitation is expected at night, but wet snow and rain are forecasted during the day. The wind will be south with a speed of 7-12 m/s, with gusts up to 15-20 m/s.
At the same Time, forecasters announced a yellow level of danger: 'Warning about dangerous meteorological phenomena in Kyiv and the region. Icy conditions on the roads at night on November 22, gusts of wind of 15-20 m/s during the day. First level of danger, yellow. Weather conditions will lead to complicating the work of energy and communal enterprises, and transportation disruptions.'
These weather conditions may cause complications in transportation movement and the work of communal services. Earlier, there were reports of expected snowfalls and low temperatures.
