Cuba Faces Total Blackout: Over 10 Million People Without Power.

Cuba experienced a nationwide blackout following an accident at the country's largest power plant. This led to power outages across the nation. The government has already closed schools, businesses, and sent state employees home to save energy amidst the shortage.
About 10 million people were left without electricity after the largest and most efficient power plant, Antonio Guiteras, shut down. The cause of the plant's failure has not yet been specified. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel stated that there will be no rest until power is restored.
The power outage has become a serious problem for Cuba, where life is becoming increasingly difficult. Residents are already facing shortages of food, fuel, water, and medicine. The government has canceled all non-essential services, closed schools, and entertainment venues, but restoring power supply will take Time.
The Prime Minister of Cuba explained that the crisis is due to aging infrastructure, fuel shortages, and growing demand. Hurricane "Milton" also complicated the situation by paralyzing fuel delivery to the power plant. The government also blames the US trade embargo and new sanctions.
The United States denies responsibility for the energy crisis in Cuba. The demand for electricity has increased due to the growth of the private sector, but fuel supplies have run out. The President of Cuba accuses the United States of financial and energy persecution.
It is worth noting that Hurricane "Milton" also caused flooding and destruction in Florida. More than 5 million people were evacuated. Cubans continue to move to Russia to participate in the war against Ukraine, despite prohibitions by the Cuban government.
