Russian Air Force carried out an airstrike on a hospital in Sumy
Today, on September 28, Russia carried out a double strike on a hospital and residential sector in Sumy. As a sign of mourning for the victims, September 29 and 30 have been declared days of mourning in the Sumy municipal territorial community. This was reported by Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar.
«Condolences to the families and friends. We will never forget and never forgive!», – the statement reads.
Let us remind you that today, September 28, in the morning, the enemy carried out an airstrike on a healthcare facility in Sumy using a «Shahed» type UAV. The emergency services, police, and medics immediately arrived at the scene.
It later became known that Russia struck the medical facility in Sumy twice. As a result, eight people were killed.
Zelensky also reacted to the Russian strike on Sumy and showed fresh photos of the aftermath. The President noted that only force can compel Russia to peace.
As reported, rescuers completed rescue and search operations at the site of the enemy strike in Sumy. Due to the Russian attack, eight people were killed and 11 were injured.
