New rules for reserving military personnel: what has changed since October.

Ukraine has established a new procedure for reserving military personnel during martial law. According to the new rules that came into effect on October 2, 2024, the right to reserve is granted only to employees who comply with all military registration requirements. This was reported by OBOZ.
For successful reservation and automatic transfer to a special military register, an employee must:
- Be registered for military service and have the appropriate document
- Be on personal military registration at their enterprise or institution
- Update their military registration data by July 16, 2024
- Not be on the wanted list
From October 2, 2024, enterprises are not allowed to reserve military personnel who have not updated their data, violated registration rules, or are on the wanted list. This applies to individuals who did not appear upon summons, ignored the referral to the MHC, or failed to comply with the employer's requirements to report to the CCC.
These changes were made by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated June 5, 2024, No. 650, taking into account changes made by the resolution dated October 1, 2024, No. 1125.
