Russian troops are attempting to surround Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region from three sides. Intense fighting continues in the area of the city. This information was announced by the spokesperson of the operational-strategic grouping of troops 'Khortytsia', Major Viktor Trehubov, during a telethon, citing 'Hlavkom'.

According to Trehubov, Russian forces are trying to encircle Kostiantynivka from three directions, but previous attempts have been unsuccessful. The main blow from the enemy is directed from the side of Pokrovsk, where the fiercest battles are taking place. Ukrainian defenders are doing everything possible to hold back the enemy's advance.

Strike from the side of Pokrovsk

The main strike is directed specifically from Pokrovsk, where the most intense battles are taking place on the Pokrovsk - Kostiantynivka road. Russian troops have concentrated in this direction, and defenders are doing everything possible to hold them in the battlefield.
