The Pension Fund revealed the features of the pension recalculation for employed retirees.

The Pension Fund automatically recalculates pensions for working retirees
The Pension Fund of Ukraine continues to automatically recalculate pensions for citizens who have found jobs after retirement. This was reported by the publication 'On Pension'.
According to available information, many working retirees receive payments calculated based on outdated subsistence minimum indicators that were relevant at the Time of pension appointment. Experts note that after the termination of employment, an obligatory recalculation is carried out taking into account the current indicators that are in effect at the time of dismissal.
It is worth noting that the results of such recalculation may vary depending on the individual components of the pension. In some cases, the increase in payments may be insignificant, while in other situations, the recalculation does not affect the pension amount at all.
Since 2018, the Pension Fund of Ukraine has been automatically recalculating without the need for additional applications from retirees. However, to avoid potential problems and overpayments, retirees must timely inform the Pension Fund about their employment and dismissal.
Representatives of the Pension Fund emphasize that if it turns out that a retiree did not timely notify about the change in employment status and there are overpayments, he will have to return the excess funds credited.
Timely reporting of changes in employment ensures the correct calculation and compliance with the legal rights of retirees to receive the benefits they are entitled to.
