Air Force reported on the night attack by Russians on Ukraine.


On the night of October 20, 2024, Ukraine was attacked by combat drones of the Shahed type and drones of an unknown type. This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“In total, radio engineering units of the Air Force detected and tracked 51 air targets: 49 enemy drones and two Iskander-M ballistic missiles,” the report said.
It is noted that combat drones were shot down in Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Lviv, Odesa, Sumy, Poltava, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Donetsk regions.
“13 Russian drones were lost by location, information on downing/fall is being clarified and updated. Two enemy drones flew in the direction of Belarus,” reported the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall that on October 19 and 20, Russians massively attacked Ukrainian regions using ballistic missiles and drones. Explosions were heard in the capital and in a number of regions of Ukraine.
As reported, Kharkiv and Sumy suffered from the strikes. In Sumy, after the attack by the Russian army, the electricity was cut off, and in some areas of the city, there was a loss of water supply.
Also in the evening, on October 19, the occupiers twice attacked Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result, 17 people were injured, including a rescuer.
