Police evacuated a homeless woman from Pokrovsk in Donetsk region
Police rescued 68-year-old Vira Fedorivna, who had lain without food in her house under shelling for two weeks. The woman had problems with her legs and could not leave the house. She found herself in a difficult situation - she was without help and food, with no relatives nearby.
“We found her in a cold house extremely weak, hungry, with severe bedsores. The wounds indicate that the woman may have been lying like this for much longer than 15 days”
Local residents noticed her condition and called the police, who promptly arrived to help. The woman was evacuated and handed over to medical personnel.
Mandatory evacuation from Mezhivska community
In some settlements of the Mezhivska community in Dnipropetrovsk region, mandatory evacuation of families with children has been announced starting from April 25. Among the villages where evacuation has been declared are Kolona Mezhova, Novopidhorodne, Raipole, Sukhareva Balka.
Additionally, all children from the cities of Kostiantynivka and Pokrovsk in Donetsk region have been evacuated. The regional commission for emergencies has expanded the area of mandatory evacuation of families with children in certain areas of the region.
