Sejm of Poland: deportation of children from Ukraine to the Russian Federation is an attack on Ukrainian identity.

The Polish parliament condemned the Ukrainian children kidnapped by Russia and Belarus, calling it a "shameful attack on Ukrainian identity".
Lawmakers stated that Russia and Belarus, which collaborates with it, violate the UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, as well as the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child. They pointed to the evidence of the International Criminal Court, which issued an arrest warrant for Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Commissioner for Children's Rights Maria Lvova-Belova.
Poland opposes the simplification of the adoption of children deprived of parental care and the granting of Russian citizenship to them. They called on the international community to implement the decision and punish those responsible for war crimes against Ukraine.
The Sejm also supports underage refugees and is working on the return of Ukrainian children to their homeland. They called for an end to illegal abductions and the return of Ukrainian children home.
