Sybiga named the only indicator of Putin's readiness for peace.

Ukraine calls on Russia to end the war
Ukraine's Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga emphasized that the only real indicator of the Russian Federation's readiness to end the war is its agreement to an unconditional, complete, and lasting ceasefire. This was reported by 'Hvylya' citing the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Analyzing the results of intensive diplomatic efforts this week, Minister Sybiga considered the situation from three different perspectives. From Ukraine's point of view, the country's commitment to a peaceful resolution of the conflict was confirmed, and agreements were reached on the return of a thousand Ukrainian citizens.
Speaking about the Russian side, Sybiga noted that Putin used the Istanbul meeting as a tool for internal propaganda and the imitation of the peace process. 'He tries to appear constructive while actually refusing to end the war,' the minister emphasized, adding that for the Kremlin, this is a way to buy Time and delay the introduction of new sanctions.
In the global context, according to the Ukrainian minister, the world must not allow Russia to use the Istanbul meeting as an excuse to continue aggression.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need to strengthen economic pressure on the aggressor in parallel with reinforcing Ukraine's defense capabilities through additional deterrence packages, air defense systems, and investments in the defense-industrial complex.
'We continue to call on Russia to agree to a complete and lasting ceasefire, to stop the killings, and to begin a meaningful peace process. Every day of refusal must lead to an increase in pressure,' Andriy Sybiga summed up.
We should also remind that Trump disappointed Europe with his position on the war in Ukraine.
Analysis
In his statement, the Minister of Foreign Affairs clearly expressed Ukraine's position regarding the further development of the situation in the east of the country and emphasized the necessity of real actions from Russia to achieve peace. He also repeatedly stressed the importance of support from the international community in responding to the Kremlin's actions.
