According to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, since the beginning of 2024, over 55 thousand citizens have been denied crossing the state border.
According to the spokesperson of the State Border Guard Service Andriy Demchenko, most of them are conscript-aged men from 18 to 60 years old.
'In 11 months of this year, 3.2 million people crossed the border from Ukraine', - the spokesperson reported.
Among those who were denied crossing, there are also individuals who are prohibited from leaving by decision of the relevant state authorities.
It is worth noting that illegal border crossings are decreasing.
During the period of martial law, law enforcement agencies uncovered more than 700 criminal groups that were illegally smuggling people across the border, of which 330 groups were identified this year.
