Ukrainians will receive the first payments under the "National Cashback" in October 2024
The Ministry of Economy of Ukraine reported that Ukrainians will receive the first payments under the "National Cashback" program in October 2024. The money will be returned to citizens for purchases made in September.
In total, about 646 thousand Ukrainians will receive 37.2 million hryvnias. Payments will be made to those who have been credited with more than two hryvnias of cashback. You need to activate a special card in the "Diia" app to receive the money. Those who have not yet activated the card (more than 300 thousand people) will be able to do so later and receive the money in November.
The program will operate continuously. Payments will be made monthly, starting from the 20th for purchases of the previous month.
The cashback funds received can be used to pay for utility services, medical services, transport services, as well as for donations to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or for the purchase of military bonds.
The "National Cashback" program is part of the initiative of the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, "Buy Ukrainian". The main goal is to support the national economy by encouraging citizens to purchase goods and services of Ukrainian production.
The cashback amount can reach up to 10% of the cost of purchasing Ukrainian goods. There are also limits: the minimum cashback amount for payment is 2 hryvnias, the maximum cashback amount per month per person is 3000 hryvnias.
It is important to note that Ukrainians will not lose pensions, subsidies, and benefits in 2025.
