Supermarkets reviewed prices for popular vegetables in June: how much Ukrainians will pay for cucumbers and tomatoes.

Summer is always associated with vitamins, fresh salads, and light dishes that help the body stay healthy and receive the necessary nutrients. The price of cucumbers delights buyers. If in May cucumbers cost from 81.36 to 112.17 hryvnias per kilogram, by the beginning of June prices dropped sharply.
On average, regular cucumbers cost 77.89 hryvnias per kilogram, which represents a significant saving for the family budget. Smooth cucumbers have slightly decreased in price - their average price is now 77.87 hryvnias. Spiky cucumbers sell for 66.90 hryvnias per kilogram, making them the most advantageous option.
Tomatoes
Red tomatoes average 97.70 hryvnias per kilogram, which is practically the same as in May. Pink tomatoes cost 99.90 hryvnias per kilogram, which is noticeably cheaper than in the previous month - 125.87 hryvnias per kilogram.
The most expensive remain plum tomatoes, with an average price of 101.13 hryvnias per kilogram.
In June, vegetable prices in Ukraine were recently reviewed, and overall, they decreased compared to the previous month. This is good news for consumers who can buy fresh vegetables at more affordable prices, maintaining a healthy and tasty diet during the hot summer.
