Trump makes controversial appointments to head of National Intelligence and Attorney General.

The newly elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, has appointed two individuals to important positions in his administration. Former congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard has been nominated for the position of Director of National Intelligence, while congressman Matt Gaetz has been nominated for the position of Attorney General.
Tulsi Gabbard had previously supported Trump earlier this year and joined his presidential transition team. She has a military background and is considered a veteran. Additionally, she is known for her unconventional views on foreign policy.
Matt Gaetz, appointed as Attorney General, emphasized the importance of ending the use of justice for political purposes. His appointment sparked some controversy as Gaetz himself had been investigated for crimes in the past.
