The installation outraged Ukrainians. Social media users note that it was necessary to generate non-existing soldiers, not to use photos of those who died in the war RF against Ukraine.
After a wave of outrage on social networks, the organizers apologized and dismantled the installation.
We sincerely apologize for offending your feelings. Of course, this was not our aim. On the contrary, we sought to draw attention to the enormous self-sacrifice required in the fight for Ukraine's freedom, and through it, Poland's as well. In these graphics, real people's photographs were used. These images were processed, and it seemed to us that they were unrecognizable. However, in our Time, it turned out that recognizing these real people is not a problem. We sincerely apologize for this
The project organizers noted that the installation was removed from public space in Warsaw and will no longer be displayed.
