Ukrainians were explained how to correctly calculate the amount of the subsidy for renting housing for IDPs.

The Ministry of Social Policy explained how to correctly determine the amount of the subsidy for renting housing for Ukrainians.
The amount of subsidy for internally displaced persons renting housing depends on the region of residence and is determined individually for each case.
When calculating the subsidy, three main factors are taken into account: the family's income, the number of persons in the family, and the cost of renting housing in the region.
For example, a family of two adults and two children who rent housing in Dnipro for 12,000 hryvnias with an income of 17,000 hryvnias per month can receive compensation of 9,788 hryvnias.
The same family with a similar composition and income, but living in Zhytomyr and renting housing for 8,000 hryvnias, can receive a subsidy that fully covers the rental cost.
The ministry also noted that the state is conducting an inventory of the housing stock throughout the country to identify objects that need repairs and can be used for social housing for internally displaced persons.
It should be noted that a compensation program for renting housing for internally displaced persons has been initiated in Ukraine.
