Ukrainian chess player Anna Ushenina took second place in the European Chess Championship in blitz format. This news is reported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.
The tournament results, which took place in Monte Carlo, showed that Anna Ushenina became the owner of the silver medal in the women's category. She scored 10 points out of a possible 13 and shared the second-third places with Alexandra Kosteniuk from Switzerland. Ushenina took second place due to a better additional coefficient.
