In Poland, payments and benefits for Ukrainians may be reviewed.

One of the presidential candidates in Poland from the Law and Justice party (PiS), Karol Nawrocki, plans to make changes to the legislation to give preference to Polish citizens in the fields of healthcare, education, and social benefits.
'Poles cannot be treated in their own country worse than immigrants,' he added, 'First of all, Poland! First of all, Poles!' - Nawrocki wrote on the X platform.
Nawrocki believes that Polish citizens should have priority in accessing medical care, and spots in schools should primarily belong to Polish children. He also proposes to ban funding pensions for citizens of other countries, including Ukrainians, and to provide social benefits primarily to Poles. Nawrocki plans to present the relevant bills in the Sejm soon.
Nawrocki emphasizes that the country should help everyone, but the main task is to ensure the well-being of its own citizens. He believes that his initiative will be one of the most important changes in legislation in recent years.
The presidential elections in Poland will take place on May 18. If necessary, the second round of voting will be held on June 1. The filing of candidates with the Central Election Commission will last until April 4. The elections will feature 11 candidates, and Karol Nawrocki represents the PiS party.
It is also worth noting that one EU country has stopped providing housing for Ukrainian refugees.
