Power outages in winter: DTEK named regions at risk of blackouts.

Ukrainians were informed about possible power outages in the winter period
The Head of the Department for the Restoration and Development of Energy Infrastructure of DTEK, Oleksiy Povolotsky, in an interview with Novini.LIVE, stated that power supply in several regions of Ukraine is operating as usual without planned outages. However, the population was warned about potential problems during winter.
Povolotsky noted that energy workers and the relevant ministry have done everything possible to restore the damaged infrastructure, and the country is approaching winter with sufficient energy potential. Nevertheless, he emphasized that the absence of new attacks is an uncertain condition.
"We are restoring over 60% of the destroyed," explained Povolotsky.
When asked about the regions that will be most affected, Povolotsky did not specify, noting that frontline zones will be in a difficult position, but he did not want to highlight other regions.
Povolotsky explained that the speed of restoring facilities after attacks depends on the availability of equipment and qualified personnel. It is also important to have equipment in reserve for quick replacement and deployment of stations.
Recall, Ukrainians have been explained how freezes can impact power outages.
