Performing combat missions in Donetsk. Let's remember Viktor Vlasenko.


Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russian-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Viktor Vlasenko.
On March 29, 2025, the defender of Ukraine Viktor Vlasenko was killed while performing combat missions in the Donetsk direction of the front. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referring to the Lviv City Council.
Viktor Vlasenko was born on March 11, 1993, in Sumy. He studied at the municipal institution 'Sumy Classical Gymnasium of the Sumy City Council' (formerly Oleksandrivska Gymnasium). Later, he graduated with honors from the Physics and Technology Institute.
For several years, he worked at the international company Coursera, where he ascended to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
In 2019, he moved to Lviv, where he had been working at Taxer recently. He was passionate about literature, running, and actively participated in marathons. He loved solving puzzles and joining tournaments in intellectual-psychological games. He dreamt of traveling the world.
After the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, he joined the defense of the Fatherland against the invaders in the ranks of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade named after Dmytro Vyshnevetsky of the Eastern Operational Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine. He performed combat missions in the Donetsk direction of the front.
Viktor Vlasenko is survived by his parents, brother, and fiancée.
The funeral service for the defender of Ukraine took place on April 30, 2025, at the church of the holy apostles Peter and Paul in Lviv. The fallen soldier was buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv.
