The authorities of Kherson approved multi-million construction of shelter at inflated prices.

Residents of Kherson are protesting against the construction of two radiation shelters. They believe this could provoke shelling from Russia. However, local authorities continue the project.
The City Council of Kherson's Capital Construction Department signed a contract with the company Tensens for the construction of a radiation shelter. The project estimates revealed inflated prices for building materials.
The company Tensens was established in 2023. The founders are Serhiy Haidukevych and Vadym Kushnir. The company has no equipment or office, yet it has already received a contract for 82 million hryvnias.
The local authorities of Kherson started the construction of two radiation shelters with the arrangement of underground schools. 185 million hryvnias have been allocated for these projects. The residents of the city consider this dangerous and ineffective.
Earlier, reports were made about suspicion of official misconduct against the head of the housing and communal services department of the Podilsk district state administration in Kyiv.
