According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of September 12, 2024, Russia has suffered losses in the war with Ukraine.
Russia's losses in the war
As of September 12, 2024, Russia has lost:
- personnel - about 630,200 (+1,270) people,
- tanks - 8,653 (+11) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 16,955 (+17) units,
- artillery systems - 18,009 (+73) units,
- MLRS - 1,184 (+2) units,
- air defense systems - 945 (+2) units,
- aircraft - 369 (+1) units,
- helicopters - 328 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 15,033 (+43) units,
- cruise missiles - 2,591 (+0) units,
- ships/boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- vehicles and tankers - 24,481 (+93) units,
- special equipment - 3,061 (+2) units.
Occupant fleet activity
- In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
- There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there is one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles.
During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the following passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea - nine ships, of which five continued towards the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Sea of Azov - 12 ships, of which three moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
It is currently the 932nd day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
