As of Thursday morning, January 23, 2025, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated the losses of the Russian occupiers.
Russia's losses in the war as of January 23, 2025
As of January 23, Russia has lost in the war with Ukraine:
- personnel - about 825320 (+1340) people;
- tanks - 9850 (+6) units;
- armored fighting vehicles - 20497 (+12) units;
- artillery systems - 22256 (+62) units;
- multiple launch rocket systems - 1262 (+0) units;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1050 (+1) units;
- aircraft - 369 (+0) units;
- helicopters - 331 (+0) units;
- operational-tactical level UAVs - 23111 (+72);
- cruise missiles - 3051 (+0);
- ships /boats - 28 (+0) units;
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit;
- automotive and tanker vehicles - 34905 (+68) units;
- special equipment - 3714 (+3).
Activity of the occupiers' fleet as of January 23
- In the Black Sea, there is one enemy ship, which is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles;
- In the Sea of Azov, there are no enemy ships;
- In the Mediterranean Sea, there are six enemy ships, two of which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 22 missiles.
The following have passed through the Kerch Strait:
- to the Black Sea - no vessels;
- to the Sea of Azov - three vessels, two of which were moving from the Bosporus Strait.
Currently, it is the 1065th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
