Traffic Jams and Fuel Shortage: Florida Residents Flee Hurricane 'Milton'.

Residents of the state of Florida are fleeing from Hurricane "Milton" and evacuating from their homes. This leads to significant traffic jams on the roads and a shortage of fuel at gas stations. This is reported by the American channel CNN.
It is expected that the hurricane will cover the coast near the city of Tampa and cause record flooding in this locality, the worst in the last 100 years.
The authorities of Florida urge residents of neighboring areas to immediately leave their homes due to a serious threat to life. Highways are crowded, and some gas stations are running out of fuel, reports CNN.
Rapid response points have already been organized in the state, where excavators, generators, and other equipment are stationed. Governor Ron DeSantis reported that the Florida Department of Emergency Management is preparing supplies of long-term storage of food, water, fuel, and sandbags.
Temporary dams have also been built to protect critical infrastructure, including hospitals and power plants.
Previously, it was reported that more than 6 million people might be evacuated from Florida.
Recall, US President Joe Biden decided to postpone his visit to Germany due to the approaching hurricane.
Also, US Secretary of State Blinken made a similar decision and canceled his trip to Germany due to the hurricane approaching the coast of Florida.
It was previously noted that millions of Americans in the southeast and east of the USA remain without power due to the catastrophic Hurricane "Helena", the strongest since 1958.
