President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with European and NATO leaders in Brussels, where he presented his proposals for ending the war with Russia.
Zelensky reported this on social media, noting that he also held meetings with several European leaders and the NATO Secretary General.
'I presented a vision that a quick move towards peace is possible. And together with our partners, we understand what steps can stop the war, guarantee security, and ensure a decent and lasting peace. We are preparing appropriate practical proposals.'said Zelensky.
The President of Ukraine proposed initial measures for establishing 'silence in the sky' and 'silence at sea'. This means stopping strikes on civilian infrastructure and military operations in the Black Sea.
Zelensky also announced his visit to Saudi Arabia, where he plans to meet with the crown prince. After that, the Ukrainian delegation will focus on cooperation with American partners.
'Ukraine will continue to cooperate constructively to achieve a quick and reliable peace.'emphasized Zelensky.
