On St. Nicholas Day, Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia and Kryvyi Rih resulted in the deaths of 11 people and injuries to 21 others. The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported this on social media on December 6, 2024.
As a result of an airstrike on a service station in Zaporizhzhia, where vehicles with people were present, nine people were killed. Four individuals were injured and are receiving medical assistance.
In Kryvyi Rih, due to a missile strike on a residential building, two people died and seventeen were injured.
Zelensky emphasized that thousands of similar strikes by Russia demonstrate Putin's unwillingness to achieve real peace. According to him, the Russian president needs the ability to employ violence against any country through bombs and missiles.
Zelensky stressed that resisting this and establishing real peace is only possible through strength, and thanked everyone who is helping Ukraine.
