Zelensky spoke about the conditions of negotiations with the Russian Federation and the placement of Western military contingents.


The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed his position regarding negotiations with Russia. He emphasized the need for a ceasefire as a prerequisite for peace talks. Zelensky noted that discussing negotiations with Russia today makes no sense due to the constant shelling from Russia. The President of Ukraine also expressed readiness for any format of negotiations, but they should have a substantive goal – achieving peace. He expressed gratitude to America for the initiative of an unconditional ceasefire.
Zelensky commented on the Russian strike on Kryvyi Rih, emphasizing the need for real actions from Russia. He also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. The President of Ukraine revealed details about the placement of the military contingent of Western allies on the territory of Ukraine. He noted that this will be a coalition of countries working on discussing the presence of this contingent on land, in the sky, and at sea, as well as other security issues.
The President of Ukraine also announced a new format of cooperation between the military chiefs of Ukraine, Britain, and France. He stressed the importance of this cooperation and noted that it is yielding results. Zelensky acknowledged Turkey's role in security guarantees for Ukraine, particularly in the Black Sea. He said that Turkey is an important player in security guarantees and can play a significant role.
The President also commented on the possibility of increasing sanctions pressure on Russia. He expressed the opinion that Russia should face sanctions for its actions. Zelensky also noted that America is close to enhancing sanctions pressure. Ukraine is working on an agreement regarding mineral resources with the United States. Zelensky announced that they have already chosen a legal company to prepare the agreement.
