The Russian army has an advantage at the Novopavlivka direction
According to the Operational and Strategic Group of Troops 'Khortytsia', heavy fighting continues in the Novopavlivka direction. Enemy assault groups attacked defensive positions in the vicinity of Kostiantynivka and Skudne. The enemy is trying to exploit its numerical superiority and continues to advance.
The Russian army also conducted offensive actions in the Pokrovsk direction, in the areas of the settlements Promin, Lysivka, Novoukrainka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Preobrazhenka, and Andriivka.
In particular, at the Nadiivka direction, the enemy attempted to move personnel on vehicles and buggies but was hit by fire and six enemy vehicles were destroyed. The attack was repelled.
In the Kramatorsk and Toretsk directions, Ukrainian units managed to hold back the enemy and prevent a deterioration of the tactical situation, despite their numerical advantage.
Attacks by the Russian army on Odesa and Sumy
On the evening of March 3, the Russian army shelled Odesa, causing damage to residential buildings and resulting in four people injured. Rescuers recorded the destruction on video.
On the night of March 4, Russian troops attacked the city of Sumy, targeting one of the polyclinics. This led to power supply issues in the city.
As a result of a drone strike, a children's medical institution was damaged, but there is currently no information regarding casualties. The consequences are being investigated further.
