Territorial Defense with Ukrainians. The Neighboring Country Plans to Involve Migrants in Defense Units.

In Poland, Ukrainian migrants may be recruited for service in territorial defense. This was reported by retired Major General of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, political and military figure Serhiy Kryvonos. A draft law allowing migrants, including Ukrainians, to serve in the police has already been registered in Poland. The Polish government is also considering the possibility of involving Ukrainians in the formation of new territorial defense units. According to Kryvonos' estimates, Ukrainian citizens in Poland could create from 25 to 30 territorial defense brigades. Politician and diplomat Roman Bezsmertny warned of the possibility of a Russian offensive operation against the Baltic states and Poland. He noted that there are currently no capabilities in Russia to conduct large-scale offensive operations, but it is necessary to objectively assess the enemy's potential.
